ABOUT ME

Hi,

I am an optimist who can not imagine a day without a big mug of latte (preferably with almond syrup) and a peek into a self-made calendar that allows me to grasp my little auspiciousness. I dream a lot. In every free moment, I reach for a book. I keep coming back to Harry Potter, although it seems I could recite it by heart. I like to spend time watching tv series. I appreciate the evenings with the jug of hot tea and the beautifully scented candle on the table.

I have a traveller soul, so I love discovering unknown places. I try to spend a lot of time travelling. From typical tourist attractions, I prefer the side streets, from the queue to the local museum – cafe with delicious coffee and the same recipe for the pastry for several generations.

I graduated European Studies at the Gdańsk University of Technology and Journalism and Social Communication at SWPS University in Wroclaw. During my studies, I broadened my knowledge by participated in student television and scientific students’ organizations.

I have been a scout in the Polish Scouting and Guiding Association for 14 years and since then I have been a trainer and educator. At that time, I founded several scouting teams. I carried out several projects (including an international art competition, training workshops for young leaders, several camps for children). Passing on my knowledge and experience, I formed several young people to play the role of leader and scout educator. I participated in the POLSKA 2023 project, which presented the candidature of the Polish Scouting and Guiding Association to the international Jamboree 2023, serving as the editor-in-chief of the online magazine Polska Inspires.

Currently, I live in Indonesia, where I study Indonesian at Universitas Komputer Indonesia in Bandung, as a participant in the Darmasiswa scholarship program.

My name is Martyna Radomska, and this is my blog.
